There is also a growing need, which traditionally had been overlooked in the field of physiotherapy, not only to routinely test, but also to objectify and quantify the results of tests (referenced and validated) that allows us to assess athletes’ recovery progress.
Sports physiotherapy is closely linked to exercise as the most powerful therapeutic tool. It is essential to be able to objectively quantify data to complement all the subjective information obtained in the day-to-day recovery process with more passive techniques.
