Descripció

Injuries are one of the greatest challenges athletes face throughout their careers. Beyond the physiological impact and consequences, injuries also significantly affect athletes’ mental health, motivation, and confidence—ultimately influencing their performance and overall well-being.

The Certificate in Psychology Applied to Sports Injuries aims to provide psychological tools based on the latest scientific advances to help understand and manage the emotional impact of injuries. Through this program, sports professionals will gain a deep understanding of the various psychological processes triggered by injury and will learn to apply strategies for prevention, intervention, and reintegration—supporting athletes in returning to their highest level.

This program is part of Barça’s philosophy of continuous education, designed for both athletes and the technical staff and professionals who support them. The goal is to train specialists capable of addressing recovery not only from a physical standpoint, but also from a mental one—aligned with the holistic and forward-thinking approach that defines FC Barcelona.
