EMPOWERING COACHES WITH NEW INTERACTIVE TECHNOLOGIES
For years, we have seen how part of the tech scene is developing a variety of new technologies to boost the user experience for different industries including the sports one. Tech consultants as well as established companies foresee the rise of this technology and the potential it may have to enhance people’s lives.
These technologies are already being developed for mass market adoption to enrich users and fan engagement, but they are still complex to implement internally for a variety of organizations due to the production phase for tight deadlines as well as other circumstances depending on the scope of work.
At Barça Innovation Hub, following our vision, we are always looking to develop innovative partnerships that will benefit the club as well as the sports industry. Having in mind the explosion of new interactive tools, one of our goals is to help the different teams staff, by designing better visuals not only when playing a match or training but 24/7 being able to use any device.
Over the years, we’ve seen that what our staff need, isn’t a sophisticated program allowing them to represent a complex layout to the team.
On the contrary, our experience has shown that a quick to produce and effortless layout can improve the communication between peers making it more efficient for all parties. If on top of this we can add another layer forging a seamless and frictionless experience using a mobile, tablet or computer; we are opening the boundaries to create on the go, at the pitch, changing room or at home.
We are pleased to announce our venture with Coplays. A Finnish app for coaches, allowing them to easily create animated drills, plays and drawings which are convenient to their needs. Collaboration will be key to improve the software with the guidance of the clubs coaches, thus creating a better experience and new features personalized to the club’s requirements. Not only that, FCB will also integrate this tool to enhance its COR program enriching the data captured and optimizing furthermore its analytics.
